ADEXEN IS RECRUITING AN EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR FOR THEIR CLIENT IN NIGERIA :- JOB OFFER - Executive Director – Fuels. Client is a leading independent and licensed petroleum service company. The Company is looking for an Executive Director –Fuels for its Lagos office. JOB DESCRIPTION· The Executive Director – Fuels is responsible for the effective leadership and management of the Supply and Operations (S&O) departments in line with the strategic direction set by the Managing Director. · The effective performance of this role will ensure that the S&O departments of the Company are able to deliver strategic and operational objectives and thereby contributing to the overall success of the Company. RESPONSIBILITIES· Assist the Managing Director to develop a strategic plan to guide the S&O departments in achieving corporate. · Effectively coordinate the activities of the S&O departments to ensure the achievement of operational and strategic goals. · Foster effective team work, cooperation and collaboration between the S&O teams in setting goals, resolving problems, and making decisions that enhance efficiency, cost and operational effectiveness in meeting customer needs and hence profitability. · Ensure that the operation of the S&O departments meet the expectations of external stakeholders such as the Federal and State regulatory and licensing authorities in terms of safety and compliance with laws and industry regulations · Identify, evaluate and manage risks to the S&O department’s operations assets - people, property, finances, goodwill, and reputation by implementing measures to control the risks. · Oversee the efficient and effective planning, implementation, day-to-day operation, and evaluation of the S&O departments to improve quality and customer satisfaction. · Motivate, support, coach and mentor the S&O leadership team to improve performance. · Other related duties as may be assigned by the Managing Director or incidental to the above. Qualifications : · University First degree and a higher degree or professional qualification in Engineering, Operations, Projects or Supply Chain Management or any equivalent combination of education and experience that could produce the same competences · Sound knowledge of applicable oil and gas industry Federal and state legislation including employment standards, occupational health and safety, environment and deregulation etc in the Nigerian oil and gas industry · Demonstrated knowledge/skill of Sales and Marketing, Depot Operations, Engineering Maintenance and Projects, Logistics and Road Transport, and Retail Network Operations with no less than 10 years experience · Demonstrated people management skills – influencing, support, coaching etc · Demonstrated skill in HSSE issues and practices relating to the Oil and Gas Industry · A demonstrated ability in initiating and managing successful change .WHAT IS ON OFFER:Attractive expatriate package .JOB REFERENCE : NGA0166 .If your experience, personal characteristics and qualifications meet the position specifications and your personal objectives are to seek such a challenge, then we would like to hear from you with details of your current earnings, up to date CV in WORD FORMAT and explanation as to why your achievements to date fit you for consideration.
